Strawberry Collective will always have a special place in our heart. Way back in 2017 a chance conversation with sourcing agents for various American consumer brands led to the creation of a new business in the home decor industry.
Two years later that business has its roots in the Direct to Consumer
(both offline and online), gifting and institutional sales channels. Availability in these channels has helped them ramp up their business by over 1000% and we’re happy to have been associated with a brand like theirs from the get go.

Since we were working with a bootstrapped company, we chose not to go the traditional Facebook and Instagram marketing way as our ROI would be minimal and marketing dollar burn would be very high.
Instead, we decided to capitalise on live events and fairs to reach our target audience. The fairs served two functions - helping us drive sales and building a first-party database independent of Big Tech.
These tags went out with every product at retail outlets.
The posters were set up strategically for exhibitions.
The stickers were used for product deliveries on packaging.
Using these fairs we were able to drive an average of 2x return on investment while also creating a captive audience we reached out to via Whatsapp and Email marketing campaigns which later drove recurring purchases.
Our work on ground was supplemented by two new business verticals - Gifting and Institutional Sales. We worked closely with the team to create marketable solutions for these verticals and now they count organisations like The Taj and Oberoi Hotels as their customers.
